yea even with no spray his car is quick but on the juice...i cant even imagine...i havent gotten a ride yetHis was the first S2000 I have ever raced. I wouldn't bother racing on from a dig because my car sucks from a dig but from a roll thats another story. So I wasn't surprised that when we would first hit it he would get the jump since that is the beauty of having a stock shift vs. a 4 speed automatic but once I got the downshift nobody was really losing anybody until I hit the speed limiter. But when the Mark VIII first came out Ford brought one to the Salt Flat's and took off the speed limiter and put on a roll cage and they had a two way certified average top speed of 181 mph. So they do get up and go and makes for one nice sleeper

You were racing an s2000 in your stock lincoln? You certainly dont seem to have a fear of losing...

You were racing an s2000 in your stock lincoln? You certainly dont seem to have a fear of losing...I don't cause me and him were pretty much equal. So if I'm hanging with a modded S2000 in my stock Lincoln then I am quite happy. I could careless about only racing cars that I can win. Thats what losers do. If a Lamborghini wants to play around then I'm game. Hell I provoked a guy with a Ford GT and I jizzed my pants when he took off like I was going in reverse

Haha, that's cool, but your stock Lincoln really isn't hanging anywhere near a modded s2000, unless it's really modded and your signature time is BS.

Hey man. What's up? I meant to tell you about the site, but I forgot to.

It was fun. We were definitely hitting some speeds I never hit on the streets, but they were pretty open. I was really impressed by your car. I was telling my buddy how well the top end on that thing was.

I gained my happiness back on 95 when we went from 2nd gear though. But up top, your car hauls pretty well.

And Blaise, if you look at his trap, that is high for a high 14 second pass. Almost 97 mph. When I ran stock, I only trapped 100. So, from a roll, it's a good race.

I'm just questioning the trapspeed on that run, that's all.

I wanna race you at Atco sometime in the future. You planning on going?

I'm about to start modding my car so I wanted to get some baseline numbers out of it before the mod's to see as to how much my mod's took off the baseline numbers. But of you want I can meet you up somewhere around here and we can do some run's

What's wrong with racing at Atco?

And just so you know, I'm not an ignorant asswipe, I do know what a mark 8 is and that they run high 14s stock, but I thought the trapspeed was around 93mph. Oh well.

If you do come race legally, I'm down for some runs.

If you do come race legally, I'm down for some runs.Nothing is wrong with racing at Atco but I don't feel like driving down there just to race you. But the trap speed will vary depending on what the driver does. most drivers for the Mark's just leave it in drive and just mash the gas. To get the best numbers out of the car you turn off the traction control and turn off O/D and manually shift it. But for manually shifting my car my time is actually on the slow side. The Mark's are good for 14.6's bone stock. But when I went my MLPS sensor on my tranny was bad and I would hit the gas and then the car would hesitate for a second and then go again. But the night I went my best trap speed was a 97.50 mph and I only ran a 15.016. But from a dig these cars are gutless. They need a stick shift and not a 4 speed automatic. I've played with the idea of doing a T56 conversion on it but after seeing other guys do it on the cars in looks cheap when its done so I guess I will just stick with the automatic

Blaise

Doesn't matt live in FL now?

We used to be friends, he kinda got pissed at me after I gave him sort of a lecture about karma when he tried to sell his formerly nitroused & modded WRX as being 'highway driven only by 53 year old man.'

But yeah, Matt and I had some fun back in the day.

Blaise

Yeah, it's a mazdaspeed at least, but still.

He moved because he supposedly just wanted warmer weather. IMO, when the parents moved he had no choice but to join them.
