TriStateTuners.com License Plate Frames! **Ordered 6/30**

****Update 6/30: License plate frames have been ordered, they will arrive in 10-14 days most likely. Pricing has not yet been set but here is what they will look like (minus the white rectangles obviously).

Interest has been expressed by a handful of members in supporting the forum by proudly displaying license plate frames with TriStateTuners.com across the bottom.
The frames will be made of plastic and have a logo or design screen printed on them. Nothing fancy (because since we have to order in bulk it gets real expensive real quick) but I promise they will look clean.
The price will be around $7 for one and $10 for two, including paypal and shipping. This may change though as we are only in the beginning stages of looking into this.
What color would you want? I'm thinking black is the most universal color for them.
What color text would you want?
Who wants to design the text for the frame? It should be stylized some, but very easy to read.
For now I am just seeing if there is substantial interest in this, and then the next step will be to get people paid and committed. So please post here saying if you would be interested and how many you would need. If we can get ~20 frames paid for in advance then I think that will be enough to go ahead with it...
I will post a photo of what the frames will look like soon...

i would buy one to support the group, but it wouldnt go on my car only because i am a member of SRToc (Owners Club)...so that's the one that is gonna go on my car since i pay an annual fee to be part of it...LOL.

there are a couple different types of frames we could go with. there are a few options on where to get them from, but here are a few basic examples. obviously only pay attention to the shape of the frame, not whats printed on it

id be up for one as well. FYI though, keep in mind when u select a frame to use that most of our cars only use the top 2 bolts, not all 4. im not really partial to having unused mounting tabs on a frame.

I am with derf. Most people have the two hole mounts and not the four. so why not get the two, plus the two will work with the four. its a win win situation

those are more expensive, but that way we dont have to get a list going and have to get a certain amount of people in on it before we can buy...

i'll try pokin around later to possibly find a cheaper alternative

i see the dilema has been recognized. We can certainly gets liscense plate frames. But we can either get one for 10 dollars each or 50 for 3 dollars each. (not the exact numbers but you get the idea). We need a bank back.

yeah i like what we have going with the place i'd be ordering bulk from, but the initial expense is just a bit big which is why i am aiming for 30 prepaid before i move on them. its all gravy if we can get that going :)

i have an idea...i tryed to draw it in paintbrush but it wasnt working out to well so mayb someone with more skills can draw it up.....at the top either write"TST" or make a little indentation so peple can print up labels with there name or what ever makes them happy to put on the top...and on the bottome put TriStateTuners.com...

im with jdm.....i really like the font that the actual website uses on the front page.......ill definitely buy some plates....Troll i work with matt with the burgandy rex and jimmy with the turbo cruiser....ill tell all of the guys at work about the plates.....im sure theyll buy some....(im the only one at work without boost) sucks for me

if someone wants to take this and run with it, please be my guest. i couldnt put together a nice long list of all the things on the forum that take up my time, but somehow i manage to spend an incredible amount of time on here. so, yeah, i'm looking for help on stuff like this. so whoever steps up to the plate is welcome to do it, just be sure that you're ready to do the legwork necessary and carry it through all the way. as long as the numbers look like they are going to work out i'll front the cash for a larger quantity and whoever organizes it will get a couple plates for free and my thanks.

anyways i think they are going to be $5 each... that keeps them pretty cheap and should allow me to get my money back on these things even if i dont sell all 200 of them.
at the meet in 2 weeks i expect to have them, but we'll see what happens.
