STI Cluster Question

Anyone that has a sti cluster installed in their car...... i have a question concerning the start up process, when you turn the key, and the gauges sweep and the shifter light blinks, is there supposed to be a series of beeps when it starts up?

Mine doesn't beep... well my radar detector beeps so i don't know if the car does but i don't think it does.

the only reason why i am questioning is because i have a vid of an '05 sti that while the gauges sweep there are beeps, i dunno if only the '05 sti's do this and not the '04s
