I've heard some people saying we're not allowed in Strayer or Red Robin anymore. True/False? If a bunch of ****ing 'tards ruined this for us, I'm gonna be pissed.

what you do away from the meet is your own business... but just be aware that anything within eyesight of the RR parking lot will get you kicked out by the masses.

I have to say it was one of the best RR meets we have had. Tons of Cars and People. Cops came and didn't even mind we were there. Almost got to see some American Muscle lay the smack down but I heard another problem with the imports. Blew a head gasket or something. Hold on was that car a DSM. There was a lot of street bike revving and fast riding, a few cars coming in and revving.

I hope to meet more of yall, I hope I didn't seem rude cause I sat in my car for like 30 mins phukin around with my contacts...LOL, just got new ones yesterday and I think they're messed up...ah well, hope to be out there every week now that I know where it is!

the meet was huge.... charles counted over 80 cars at around 9:45 or so but people were coming and going so who knows what the number peaked at.
i talked to mike the manager inside with chris and pete and he was incredibly cool... he said as long as we behave its totally fine that we are there. he knows that we've been meeting there for a long time and that the majority of the people are fine. i told him some of the newer guys either dont know that they need to chill out and respect the lot or they dont care, but either way we were handling it.
the other issue at hand is we are outgrowing the lot... its not even really warm yet and the meets are getting bigger and bigger each week. i think i'm going to do some legwork to see if we can get actual permission at a nearby lot that is bigger and we'll move the meet there. its a longshot since anywhere we go we're a liability, but i'm gonna give it a shot since we basically filled up the entire RR lot last night. mike the manager didnt tell us we had to leave but he basically suggested that if we were getting too big for the lot that we might want to look at any variety of other places in the area, and thats totally fair.
so anyways, just realize that the cops are keeping an eye on us... dont speed down the access road and dont rev your engine... i can tell you that at this point its frowned upon by the majority of the group and all you're gonna get out of it is people talking about how much of a loser you are.
i went and talked to that 1G DSM CF hood guy about chilling out and he seemed like he understood me pretty well... and then 10 minutes later he was racing around the lot and revving his engine again. as far as i'm concerned he's not welcome back to the meets.
the white STi with cf hood and trunk who got sideways twice out of the RR lot... also not ok. since its the first time i've seen him at a meet i'm going to assume that he doesnt know the rules, so i'll be sure to tell him next week if he's there.
if you see these guys at the next meet feel free to tell them they need to control themselves, or find somewhere else to hang out... they're not going to ruin everything for a group of 75+ cars and owners who know how to behave just cause they want some attention. and if those two guys are curious at the response to how they were behaving, read the bolded sentence above :roll:
thats about it... hope everyone is on the same page now and realizes we need to behave perfectly. we're really lucky that RR is cool with having us, if it were my restaurant i sure wouldnt. just appreciate and respect that and do everything in your power to go practically unnoticed there next week (if we dont find another lot by then).

when i talk to people i'm just nice and tell them how it is and that the cops are watchign us and we've been here for a long time and we really need to behave or else we'll get kicked out once and for all. i dont really blame the person for doing stupid **** just assume that he didnt know the situation. i've done it solo a handful of times now and it usually works. so yeah, each individual should definitely feel comfortable going up and nicely explaining whats up to anyone who might not know... not a big deal.

yea the meet was huge i also talked to the manager he was being cool about it...he jus asked if we could have the people move from the fire lane which the guy with the blue STi handled and all and he was being cool he said were most of his thursday night buisness and as long as we behave were fine he was a really cool guy we deff need to toss him a shirt and go in and buy some stuff

Last night was the second time I have driven down to RR to hang out. Seems like a pretty good group of people. I know quite a few from the local DSM scene but I did get a chance to meet a handful of new people when I first pulled in.

The meet is starting to get incredibly crowded. And the peopel who aren't on the site, are taking advantage of what we have. It's really getting irritating.

We need to start having organization. Maybe some people just to round everyone up and get things safe in the parking lot.

Side note: I am getting extremely annoyed by the kids with small ***** that need to rev their motors to look cool. Please stop. I saw some people from the site doing it, cut the crap. A car revving is not cool.

We all are sick of it, and the problem is slowly being addressed. It is not as easy as it seems. Brian, myself, and many others have talked to a few people about their actions and told them to respect our meet. They usually comply after we speak with them. The problem arises when some decides they are going to show off as they leave. It is then when we cant say anything to them because they are leaving.
