I can't decide if I should get this or not. It's a rear diffuser that goes under the rear end of the car. My problem is that I can't decide if it's overkill or not. I'm not just buying it for looks. I do track the car. But It'll be driving around with it on everday

My other problem is choosing what to get it made of. They make a fiberglass one and a carbon fiber one. The fiberglass cost 350 and the CF is 600.

It completely ruins the rear end of that car.

I agree. The ass end of those cars looks damn good stock. Don't mess with a good thing.

I saw a diffuser on the back of a black Miata that was slammed a little too low, and a big mazdaspeed banner on the windshield. The diffuser killed the car instantly for me.

I would get it carbon fiber.. For my car I could not touch a carbon rear diffuser for less then 1k at least.. They only thing that would steer me away from it is the workmanship of the peice, if it fits well, I would definitely get it, but you know how some parts are made theese days:roll:

Hmmm... Just me, but, 350-600 could be going towards traction or poWAR!!
Look at it this way, in six months, which problem would you rather have:
A) Not having that pretty spoiler ruined your chances of winning that beauty pageant.
B) Not having that extra 20+ hp to beat that Foo that just smoked you!
If your answer is "A", then go out and buy it!

P.S. If you're gonna buy it, at least make it as light a possible!

I would say go for it if you had some sick wide body on the car and huge tires on the back like that one, but since you have a stock appearance on the outside I vote no.
Disclaimer: Now I know your baller status so I am not sure if the outside is completely different since the last time I saw it lol.

I think the wing is too small

Do they offer any other diffusers for the car?

Actually it is different
But no widebody kit. I'm not into very flashy looking body kits. I want someone to look at my car and be like, "Damn, this guys means buisness". I'v tried to keep the outside looking as clean looking as possible. I really like the diffuser though. It gives the car the look like it just jumped of the racetrack. Plus it will greaty help my high speed stability. I still can't decide to get it or not.
And the rx-7 in the picture is not a widebody. Stock body panels all around.

I see that. The car also has a very large carbon wing and tires that look like they are off a nascar. lol Anyways, I think it will be too much for daily driving. Did you get wheels yet, I wanna see some Volks or Advans on that bitch asap!

All in due time. I'm working on getting it set up for roadracing this summer. I'm not gonna buy a set of 17'' Volk 57pro's (hint hint) and ruin them on the race track am I????
I'm more concered about getting my oil cooler setup, seats, cage, intercooler, and new turbo.

The only seats allowed in your car are BRIDES lol.

I was thinking more along the lines of memory fab. I can get 2 for the price of one Bride. And they are praticly the same thing.

not to bad of an idea, anything that follows the curve of the rear would look better.
oh yea carbon

The diffuser looks serious, but it doesn't follow the sexy lines of the car enough to compliment it vs. stick out like a sore thumb.
Suggestion of teh day: save the money for the diffuser and get a set of Neez wheels for the track :prayer:

Kidding right? Have fun racing nothing since they aren't FIA, nor SCCA approved.
As for the diffuser, I wouldn't buy it unless you like how it looks. you are going to be just as well off with that wing on the rear. The drag from the rear bumper is not THAT noticeable. The downforce created by a properly set up wing, now that you will notice when your rearend sits flat around turns at 120+.

haha. Well I know I won't have to worry about that since I have no intent to track my car. Brides are just where it is for jdm street tuning.

The Bride BrixII is FIA approved. Most brides aren't FIA approved because they are reclinable. Either way your paying for the name.

I'm going to have to agree with the rest. It is pretty hidious looking on an RX-7. Doesn't flow with the lines at all. I'm sure there is one out there that matches better.
