Red Evo A**hole Owner

SO i'm driving home from work today in my srt-4 that has noticable mods and this guy in the EVO keeps trying to taunt me to race. Let me remind you it was down pouring. So he keeps going back and forth trying to annoy me, so he notices that doesn't work so he starts cutting me the f*ck off and slowing down trying to get me to race him even more. After that didn't work he rolled down his windows and I guess he was trying to say something but i totally ignored him. That SOB is so lucky it wasn't dry out or i would've blown the a**hole away. So if anybody knows this person tell me. This was between Newtown SQ, and west goshen

true...i know a couple sane evo drivers (totheIXs) but at a local meet one almost went out of control...those cars are too fast for most of the people who drive them.

Followed an Orange Blast SRT all the way out of Newtown and down I95 yesterday all the way to the Bristol exit and did not rev once or try to pass or anything..

I agree. It's my understanding that he went 12.8 one time, which the time slip had a 1.3 60ft on street tires. I believe the rest of his runs during that day were 13's. The only evo you may keep up with would be a stock evo 8, now if that evo had cams, tbe, flash, and i/c pipes it would be game over.

I know one evo owner.....He's an asshole to most people. Alot of young kids buy evo's. And it's probably the fastest car they have ever been in. So it boosts their ego pretty good.

On another note...I wouldnt be to sure about smoking an evo without knowign full well whats done...Kind of har to do in he rain WHILE driving...but hey your call not mine.

Next time just pull off and waitt a minute then return to your normal driving speed...so your not near the guy

I'm just saying that evo's are mostly owned by young people. Most young people have not had access to extreamly fast cars. So when they get into an evo "holy ****s this is the fastest car ever. Noone can beat me".

I think I'm a little different. I'v either driven or riden in some of the fastest cars on the east coast. I think I know what a fast car is. My car is not super fast. There are some cars out there that will eat me for dinner. I can accept this....some people can not.

Yeah, haven't made it down to philly in a while. My car is still not finished. I will not go down there to watch. I'm convinced that the reason the races suck nowadays is because too many people go to watch. Out of the 1000 people there, only 20 are racing.

I'll be back within a week or two. The motor and new front end are getting picked up this weekend :mrgreen:

i tried that and the a**hole slowed down cut me off, and slowed to like 35 in a 55, and for kevin's response, the car sounded pure stock, no exhaust, no blow off, nothing, u can usually tell the difference between a stock evo and an evo that actually has parts on it that add HP, there are exceptions though

as with evo owners being assholes, like it was said, i have had the same response from a ton of wrx/sti guys, srt4's, corvettes, porsches, ect ect....they are in every car group....

i raced a mustang, white , convertible, big tires in the back, skinnines up front, loud, most likely tons of work from the sound, on route 30 i was slowly passing him at 65mph in the left lane and when i was going past him he looked over, was laughing, talking to his wife and then pointing back up at my car as if it were a joke of some sort.....so i got pissed pulled into right lane, slowed down to about 50mph and he came up on my left.......i let him hit it first..... :-) needless to say when i turned of onm the lionville exit i had him by about 2 buslenths......you get atiitude from all car groups of all ages....evos are relatively new cars and kids are getting them a little young from mommy and daddy and making us look bad....were nice guys, im sure many of you have met me or seen me at the meets and i dont want a bad concensus over some stupid kids....

Hell i just met a guy with a 240sx that had an intake and exhaust and he thought his car was the fastest thing to be on the streets and he is a total ass. Keep in mind that car with those mods= still slow. Every group has their assholes, but i do think it has something to do with the age group of evo drivers.

I totally understand were your comming from. Your not automaticly an asshole because you own an evo. I think that you see alot of assholes in evo's/sti's/srt4's because cater to the lower age group.
