From what I hear(not sure if its true) he lives at a high altitude and needs the supercharger to power the huge turbo he's got on the car. If that makes sense to anyone. I could be wrong, I usually am.

This is true.. He had the car shipped to jersey so he could hit the track while he was there on buisness..He ran a mid 10sec pass that was anything but clean at 140 or so I believe. The car has a dogbox and is at AMS currently for a turbo only setup with a de-stroked 4g64 block..From what I hear(not sure if its true) he lives at a high altitude and needs the supercharger to power the huge turbo he's got on the car. If that makes sense to anyone. I could be wrong, I usually am.

Saw that car a couple months back in Westchester while it was being built. Sequential gear box, Air to coolant intercooler and a turbo from a diesel truck makes that thing just crazy.

i think he made a comment on evom saying it was bad for track days because the intercooler would get heatsoaked. I have that same setup in my computer haha.

yeah i saw that at the shootout last year, they were rushing to finish it up before then but something broke on the way there and it sat in the parking lot all day.
it had one of the largest turbos i have ever seen... i have photos of it somewhere on here if you search for sti evo shootout.

If it's a diesel turbo than it's most likely a holset. Those things are monsters. I'v seen one with a 2.0ar compressor. Insanity!!!!!

It has a s/c and turbo, yes b/c of high altitude. He has a Holset HX-50, which I found out when I was researching in putting mine on. The altitude keeps the turbo from spooling in early RPMs, and thats where the s/c comes into play.
