Yeah, so I got layed off today.
Ameriquest Mortgage thought it would be in their best interests to lay off 3800 employees and and close 229 retail loan branches. I started this job less than one month ago, and now am unemployed. I left a great job to join Ameriquest only to be screwed a few weeks later.
This sucks. I have never not been working. I'm sick to my stomach.
Anyone need a seasoned salesman? I need to feed my family. Hook a brotha up.

Yep, an all expenses paid trip to Chicago for training, then two days later they lay everyone off. WTF?
I'm on payroll until the 12th, so I get a tiny little paycheck before I can get unemployment. I don't want unemployment, I want to make some coin for my family.

Yo Chris, that blows man!
Like GSX said, try your old boss if you liked working there, but only if things get a little desperate.
I hope you get this crap turned around. Let me know if I can help.
Best wishes.

I got my last job from Monster within a week. You just have to be selective about who you send your resume to, and be sure not to just post it up so anyone can browse it.
