Sweet!
I don't know why buy I like the new fit. All it needs is some yellow paint, spoon stickers, and a 13.5:1 compression 300whp spoon engine

road tests i have seen show it going mid 16's. which is not bad at all considering it only has 109hp. it only weighs about 2300lbs though. i/h/e will get it down into the mid-low 15's. it is an awesome car, actually is HUGGGE inside, and the sport model with a 5 speed is only $15k. way more car than anything in its class. standard with 6 disc 200 watt mp3 radio with aux jack for ipod or w/e. if anyone is interested in buying on my dad works at honda :) i got the optional 16''s HFP rims, but they are going on my crx

My dads friend just bought 3, 1 for each of his sons and 1 for his wife. He is a big jump on the band wagon guy so when fuel gets tough he jumps and jumps hard. If you don't mind me asking how much out the door.

well not sure actually cause i traded in a 2004 cr-v. i owed $11k on the cr-v they gave me $17k for trade in, so i only financed about $10k on the fit. i'd say OTD would be in the $16's for the sport model.
hahaha MOD IT
DUH!!!!! not one of my cars i have ever owned has been left stock. probly will do intake, race header, exhaust on it when the parts ar available. :)

hrmm caliber is like (edit: ) 13,900 to start. id say you're getting a lot more there compared to the fit, except for MPG, of course
oh ya.. and resale value.. for those of us who buy cars as investments as opposed to things to drive.

drive-by-wire is when instead of having an actual cable connected from the gas pedal, it sends a signal through wires that move a servo to open or close the throttle.
