Looking for a 1991-1994 240SX hatchback, manual trans.
I want something with a clean body and interior for a project. Hoping to find one with power windows and a sun roof.
I'm keeping a close eye on eBay and auto trader. Someone let me know if they see something local.
Thanks!

That's more than I'm willing to pay.
Book on that year group for a private seller for "excellent" condition is $2500. Dealer for the same car is $3770.

I know there is a maroon s13 hatch for 2500 at a dealer on the eastern side of route 309 between coopersburg and quackertown.
Dunno if that helps at all but I always notice it when I drive by for work
and a 3500 s13 is crazy, mabey I should sell mine for 15k after the next fast&felatious movie comes out
PS: check any s13 for rust, and you might not want a sunroof car f you're over 5'7", cus the assembly is heavy and headroom is scarce in an S-chassis, which makes finding low mouting aftermarket seat rails more of a challenge.

Is it really clean looking? If so, can you give me a name and/or number to that joint?

It looked clean driving by, but then again so do most crummy s13s, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
I never noticed the name of the place cus it was a real small dealer, I just know its down the street from this bike dealer www.scottpowersports.com
sorry I'm not much help
I might have to drive by there tommorow for work, if I do, I'll try to check it out

i'll let it go for 2800.00 if you want it. i just have to get it out of my yard. cops are starting to ask if i'm a used car dealer. i have pics but they are too big to post here. email me and i will send them to you.

I appreciate that, but $2500 is my limit, and that's for a manual.

my boy is lookin for an s13 too so I stoped to check it out today.
Its a kouki (91+ I forget the exact year) s13 hatch w/ about 140k miles and an auto mission for 2500
It had been re-sprayed red by an el-cheapo macco style body shop so it might have some suprises under the paint, but the paint itself isn't too bad aside from minor sideswipe damage to the lower driver door and rear quarter. I didn't see any surface rust, but I didn't look hard under the car.
Its at some backwoods dealer/garage called B&F auto parts: 536-6859 ( I think coopersburg area is 215 area code but I'm not sure, it might be 610)
Its not cherry thats fur sure, but you'll be hard pressed to find an s13 that is

if you're looking for the car as a project car why would you waste your money looking for a car that runs??? to be perfectly honest with you your best bet is going to be to go out and just buy a shell....drop in th enew engine/tranny and call it a day. i've seen 180 shells sell for under a grand w/o a problem
as for the whole sunroof thing.....why even bother on the hatch? it has such little structural integrity to begin with b/c its a hatch why make it even worse by having a sunroof??
what are you planning on doing with the car anyway?

Because it's what I want. I'd much rather be patient and buy what I want to begin with, than buy something I don't want, and spend extra $$$ to make it into what I want. It's much more costly that way.
It's going to be a street/strip, occasional show car.
