Is it going back into a 99 bug?
Is the car Manual or Auto? there's difference in injector size.

its a 99 BUG and its manual

the water pump went on the car while driving it overheated i think major damage to the engine, so a new/used engine is what is needed

I wonder if the water pump was changed (upgraded) when the Timing Belt was done.
