I need to get the STI detailed here soon and take some pics of the 2 together. And yes I know my camera and my photography skills suck. All constructive criticisms are welcome

Well, this was the exact car I was building my STI to face headon. This was my father's pride and joy, but he passed away about 3 weeks ago and always wanted me to have it if that time ever came. Not really how I wanted things to work out, but death is something we all must face. It is truly an awesome car and I consider myself more than fortunate just to have it parked in my driveway (rather than be the owner of it now).
Just as a poke to the ribs, my father had the license plate to read "faster than B" (my nickname) and was prepared to do whatever it took to ensure that was the case (hence the LPE supercharger kit). We never did have a chance to race the 2, but I will get around to it some day.

Wow. I'm sorry man, I had no idea.
Awesome car either way, and I'm sure that your dad would want you to drive the hell out of it.

Yeah, i did notice the RIP dad in your sig a few days back, and i sorta had the Z06 and that linked together, but im not one to dig into personal things. Well im sorry that my assumption was correct. Like said above, your dad sounded like one that truly had the need for speed.........and there sure as hell isnt anything wrong with you upholding that tradition!

Wow, that car is immaculate! I'm sorry to hear about your loss... your father sounds like a great guy. I have a feeling that you will always have a special connection with that car, moreso than any lowly enthusiast like myself could ever experience/understand. But enjoy her safely, that's a hell of a lot of power!

Funny story behind the liscence plate. Losing your dad is a terrible thing to go through, but it sounds like you have a great attitude considering.
And that car is a beast. One look at the Z06 badging and the hood and most people will be running. I'm sure no one has to tell you to take good care of it... but I'm interested as to when the STi will be able to hang :)
