Since the weather is starting to break, I'd figure we get some golf chatter going on TST.
What kind of golfers does TST have? Anyone here just waiting for the proper time to turn pro? :)
How about some recommendations on your favorite area courses. I try and play once a week and I'm always looking for a new course to tear-up.
As for me, I'm just an average golfer who likes to compete and have fun out there, nothing all that serious.
You can usually find me in the afternoon at 5 Ponds in Warminster. If any of you guys have never played this course, I highly recommend you do this year.
If the course in SEPA or Jersey, I'm up for playing it.
Possible TST Golf Tournament??

You've got an avid golfer right here. been out once this year so far. im about a 8-10 handicap, if i played more i'd be lower but ive worked all summer in the past. i frequent my country club ODCC its in york. this summer i'll be caddying and playing at Lancaster Country Club for those of you who have heard of it. and i would love a tst golf tourney. say 2 or 4 man scramble. i've got a 4 man comin up in may so i need a few rounds under my belt before then

I want to become more of a golfer. I pick up playing sports kind of quick but I know I still have to work on my swing some. I'd like to try and get to be real competitive some day and be in some tourneys.

I'm a member at Commonwealth National, and I might be joining Bucks County CC this summer. Those of you with decent handicaps should check out Commonwealth sometime, bitch of a course :)

Played Commonwealth a couple times myself, great course, especially the back.
Some of the nicest fairways I've seen. Almost felt guilty everytime I took a divot.

i like to play, i'm not that good but i'm getting much better. Last time i went
out, on wednesday, i played the best i've ever played, had a few drives over
300 yeards, made a birdie and a few pars. Only played up till hole 8 tho cuz it
got dark...
Marc (whitexfire) matt (sincere) and I went to Middletown CC last monday and
that was pretty fun....but yeah i'd be up for it if we ever got an outing together

Commonwealth is private, so there would be no way to facilitate anything unfortunately  At best I could only bring people 1-2 at a time. I wouldn't recommend the course for beginners due to the cost and difficulty. I usually shoot in the low 90s at Commonwealth which should put me into the high 80s at a simpler course. The front 9 at Commonwealth can get your hopes up for a good round, but the back 9 destroys any hope of that!
I need to get out a few times this season. Playing two Pinehurst courses mid-June, so I don't want to look bad out there :)

I gonna pick up golf this year. I bought a townhouse along the 3rd Fairway @ Limerick (PA) Golf Club (pbulic). MY settlement is end of May. I will gladly host a TSt golf outing and BBQ.

Wow, I wouldn't mind living there either! Limerick is a great public course. I wonder how you would even set up an event like that! Keep us in teh loop :P

I am up for it. I will definetly start working on my swing to play with you amateur guys haha. Hopefully I will figure out soon enough why I keep slicing most of the time. If I didn't then I could get these balls to fly.
