Looking for the best and safest place to try a top speed run in the central PA area. Any ideas?

There is a bridge on rt 30 between york and Philly. I've done over 140 on it and still had room in my Escort.

Can't imagine the wind noise.

A bridge? Over a river or what?

Yes it goes over a river and between two mountain ridges so there is NO place for cops to sit on either side I floored it just before the bend into the bridge, then held my food down until the needle hit about 145 (probably a bit off at that speed) and then coasted to the other side.

It's out of the way but I always get mine on Rt. 1 in Chester County just before you hit the Maryland state line.
