2008+ Subaru Impreza WRX Direct-Fit Oil Cooler Kit

The WRX is a very popular car in the aftermarket tuning community and is often heavily modified. Unfortunately, the 2008+ WRX does not have a direct-fit cooling solution without the need to adapt STI parts. To rectify this situation, the engineers at Mishimoto created a direct-fit oil cooler kit for these cars that will keep them protected, even during the toughest conditions.

Our oil cooler kit includes a 19-row core, which mounts in the lower grille area toward the passenger’s side for maximum airflow. The cooler is secured to the car using application-specific brackets, and its steel-braided lines route from the cooler back to the sandwich plate. Because these lines run close to the exhaust manifold, the kit includes ThermaShield wrapping to protect the oil lines from heat soak. This kit also comes with the option of a standard or thermostatic sandwich plate. We’ve included a specially designed CNC-machined spacer with this kit, which allows for the direct-fit of our sandwich plate. The cooler provides for a 50° temperature drop when compared to stock.

This cooler fits directly onto the WRX and looks great in the front grille. It is available in black or silver cores to match the styling preferences of the user. Like all Mishimoto products, this oil cooler kit comes with our lifetime warranty. So if you’re looking to push the limits of your WRX, keep your car protected with the Mishimoto Direct-Fit Oil Cooler Kit.
