I might be wrong, but I think that's the new front end that Subaru wants to put on it's cars. The B9 concepts all have it and I've read in a few mags that's what they're going to put on everything. I like it on the Scrambler, but the Tribecca is eh.
That thing's just ugly, I don't like the headlights at ALL. The crease down the sides is totally obnoxious... a STi hatch would be cool, but not looking like that.

They might be doing it to compete with Citroen and Peugot in WRC, FIA, little car like that no weight, awd, it would give them a run for their money considering they arent doing that bad as it is on rallys now. If they do come out with it, we probably won't see it for some time.

That is a more viable/believable picture. It keeps the same sides and is only a redesign on the front end.
Still looks like it was stolen from Alfa Romeo. It will be officially crossed off my consideration list.

The 9 has the grille like the 7, where is doesn't rise up and split the middle.
The holes serve a function, so I can live with them. And while the STi is getting uglier and uglier, the EVO is getting better, cleaner.
Plus MIVEC, bishes. :wiggle:

Mike is MIVEC your version of variable valve timing? If so do you know much about how it works? Can it control both the intake and exaust cams like the v9 suby?

Everything I have read points to camS, so I guess they are both variable.
Also I believe the new 4G63 is a direct injection motor, but that was news I heard a while ago.
