Hey Guys,

Got bored and figured I would type this little problem I had a few months back that I fixed for just 26 bucks.

It all started when my 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 started throwing codes. I was getting a too lean code and a EVAP leak. I searched and searched for ways to solve this problem. I came across Mazdaspeed Forums (http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/) and I found a few people had this problem but no one was really letting me know what was up. Finally one of the guys on there told me he switch out his purge solenoid valve and fixed his problem. So I decided to try it and it WORKED!! So I want to show you a step by step link that shows you how to swap the valve out.

OK first off this is a Purge Valve on Mazdaspeed First Gens

You can buy this at autozone for $26.99

DO NOT BUY factory stock purge valve from the dealership it is 80 bucks.

You can do some searches on the inner web and find it cheaper but Autozone had it same day so I bought it.

Here is the HOW TO REPLACE PURGE VALVE For First GEN Mazdaspeed 3
https://docs.google.com/presentation...CpM#slide=id.p

So you can follow those instructions or you can just reuse the factory rubber holder and slide the new Purge valve in place. Just be careful not to snap your connection when trying to remove. This install should take about 5 minutes of your time. If your playing around with this for hours your doing something wrong. Any questions please let me know.
