I used to do a quite a bit of climbing, lost interest and stopped.

Yesterday some friends and I were bored so we went back to a train bridge (not used anymore) and did a little reppelling.

I'm going to scope out the Playwicki park train brige and probably go off that.

Anyway, anybody know anthing cool to climb around here?

On snap, that one is scary cause if a train comes there is no where to go but down. I was thinking the other bridge they don't use anymore.

Ha, considering I haven't done this in a while smaller is better.

What did you ancor to? Did you go around the track I am assuming? On the smaller one, there is a HUGE power line pole that goes up. I might tie a figure knot around than and cruise down into the water real fast. That smaller one is probably 50-60ft high.

What do you use to repell? I have a Figure 8 and a biner or two.

I went to that place behinde Chrome on Saturday and did some climbs that place is pretty fun. I took the belay test or whatever so I can do that there.

Went to EMS today and bought some a few biners, an ATC, a chalk bag and chalk....

Aussie repell = :)

I'll probably keep hitting the philly gym for a a few weeks to build up some muscles I haven't used in a long time and than head out for some out door top ropping.

I have som friends that also enjoy climbing who have passed belya tests and what not.

WOuld love if we all got together to have some fun.

I used to hit up High Rocks all the time. One of the best top roping spots in the area.

I still have my rope, harness, carabiners, webbing, camlocks and other crap, but haven't had a chance to use any of it in years.

My rope isn't any good anymore since the shelf life expired over 5 years ago, and my fat ass doesn't fit into my harness anymore either. Oh well.
