What did you bypass your company's proxy server? Or bypass a hardcoded browser configuration?

Anyway.. enjoy it while you can! Woohoo! :supz:

nah, nothing that complicated. just some creative wiring to a new piece of equipment that sony makes that uses wyfi to connect to the net.

The easiest way in most companies is to get the IP address of the site that you wish to access, and connect directly to that.

This normally works because most of the Proxy Server software operates by filtering what information can pass in and out of the DNS server.

Also, you can try going to a translator site, and having them translate an entire site into english, and then the address will show up as
www.translatorsite.com/translate/english/http://www.tristatetuners.com

Sometimes this method works, but normally, you have to use the IP.

I'm amazed I get it on a goverment/military computer.
Everything else (nasioc.com, i-club, etc) is blocked.

usually there are filters for games, porn & harsh language. creating an alternate connection isn't really 'hacking'. i wouldn't say what you are saying though, many systems have keyloggers that track everything you type, pretty brave saying what you said (WKderF)

Can you explain this for a non-computer literate person?

hahaha obviously you don't get logged. Anyway another thing you can do and this is what we all did at commerce bank. We rerouted AIM through the FTP port since it was wide open. I couldn't get the explorer to work but anyone care trying to use AIM feel free to try different ports.
