STOLEN!!! WHITE EVO X GSR (Lehigh Valley area)

This white EVO X GSR was stolen this past weekend from the Allentown/Whitehall area. Was last seen on 22 heading east this morning. So many cars are getting stolen now. Havent seen a honda get stolen in a while looks like their setting their game up. Hopefully they find the car.

It is. If you don't have the key on you, the car will not start. They probably stole the car using a flat bed, like previously said.

not all the evos have the fast key option.. Mine was a reg key when i had it so i guess its possible to steal one.. Just messed up peoples mentality ..Stealing what they cant have

Goodluck with the search. I will keep an eye out. Sadly though, Unless he's extremly lucky it's already too late. I feel very, very bad for him with what he is going to hafto go through with the insurance SIU. If he thought it was his worst day having his car stolen, Wait until he see's whats' coming his way from the insurance company.

Keep us updated. Who is his insurance company? They will be putting him through hell, I'm sure of it. If another one of my cars ever got stolen, I don't think I would even report it. I would take the loss no matter the cost, After what they put you through when you are the actual victim.

Tell him be prepared for the insurance SIU to have him get bank records when he got it, when it got stolen, phone records, text records, data records, income, bill receipts for things not even related to a car, they talk to neighbors, and anyone who knows you (without you even knowing ), If he's online, They'll look him up and probably find anything/everything he ever posted before. They will have him sign affidavits that need to be notarized to have his cell phone provider give them the locations each call was made right before, and after, to see if his story matches up. They may also make him go for an EUO (examintation under oath), And if they do, He will be put through even more hell then the above....

I went though the SIU(all fire claims automatically get an investigation) with Nationwide. It isn't 1/2 as bad as you make it out to be and also only took them a few weeks to complete the investigation.

I guess it depends on the type of car then. When my skyline got stolen, It took them 3 1/2 months of every day hell. After they realized I had nothing to do with any of it, They then went on to starting the whole ''it shoulden't have been here, so it's not worth anything" story. Even know they insured the car, Knowing exactly what it was. They lead me on week after week, and gave b/s excuses as to why it can't be resolved. They woulden't answer my calls, they woulden't return my calls, they would send letters saying they need witnesses and those people aren't willing to co-operate, When in reality they left several voice mails ETC with proof they were trying to call" ETC. It was all just to prolong things. It was the worst experience in my life by far.

At the end of the day, I got screwed even more so by the insurance when it was all said and done, Even know they had a third party appraiser , Appraise my car through pictures. What the appraisle said, And what they gave me was over $10k difference and again, They gave me some b/s reason that made no sense. I never got a lawyer, Because I believe you shoulden't need to do that. You should trust that they are there to do their job and make things right and they never did, So they hafto live with that.

Flags could have been raised based on the amount of cars you buy and sell each year too.

I did get low balled on car value... but I think its because when they pulled my bank paperwork they knew I had gap so it didn't matter to me really in the end.

I never had a claim in my life for anything. I never called the police for anything, Ever. I own all my cars outright and pay with cash. They told me the reason for the big price difference is because the title went to a few different states after it got brought here from japan, to canada, to the states, to have history on it or something like that. All of which had absolutly nothing to do with me, Because I bought it with a clean nj title.

Either way, I hope the original thread starters fried don't hafto go through any of this. A simple google search of siu process on a stolen care will result to thousands of people telling their horror stories and how it ruined their life, And made them re-live it every day!

your trying to compare a usdm car to an overseas jdm car. of course their going to be a lot stricter with your car then anyone else.

Well, dealing with insurance companies in general is a headache. My friend's home burnt down, lost everything and barely made it out alive, but that was not the worst part. He had no where to live and couch surfed for years. It took over 3 years for any type of settlement to ever get resolved. I cannot even fathom having my life in limbo for 3 years like that. Having your life by the balls of a corporation that could really care less. Years afterword, he is still rebuilding his life, but it will never be the same.

But with the car stolen, I do hope they find it. It's a damn shame that it was taken.
