highly recommended! stay at the westin if you're looking for the best amenities. a lot is over-priced, due to everything having to be imported though. i think cereal was like $8-9 at the grocery store. the restaurants in town are AMAZING. banana deck, lime inn, high tide.

i might just end up moving down there.

looks beautiful.

indeed... and the pictures don't even do it justice.

Looks pretty lovely! I wouldn't mind checking out the virgin islands at some point.

I got a ton of pics when I took a vaca to st Thomas this past January, but didn't get a chance to swing over to st John. Looks beautiful though, I didn't want to leave st Thomas either lol

yeah, we have to take a ferry from st. thomas over... but damn what a difference between the two islands. st. thomas has some beautiful beaches, no doubt (that last pic from the plane is st. thomas), but it also has mcdonalds, subway, and whatever other franchise/commercial businesses all over the place... not to mention the huge cruise ships/large amount of tourism. st. john is 8 miles in totality, and 2/3rds of it is national park (cannot build on). there is not a single fast food place on the island. the remote/secluded-ness is a big part of what makes it so amazing. i'd recommend checking out st. john if you ever get the chance! being THE ONLY people on henley cay for a large portion of the day is one hell of an experience. a whole little island, to yourself.
