If you own GT4 then you've ridden the virtual 'Ring.

170 or so turns over 14km (or is it 14 miles?) Anyway, just thinking about flying over there to give her a go makes me want to go change my pants...

The ring in GT4 is extremely accurate. PGR3 ring is modified a bit due to the arcade theme of the game vs. a sim like GT4.

We need a track like this in the Northeast...

For $260, you and 2 friends can ride the 'Ring Taxi.
It's pretty much a flying lap in 500hp BMW driven by a pro/semi-pro driver.

there aint no semi pro about sabine she is awsome, and knows the ring better then anyone else alive. and forget riding in the taxi i would rather back 20 or so euros and drive it.

I would try both at least.
A flying lap driven by a pro would be an amazing experience.
And my own driving lap.

Yeah the ring taxi is actually an M5.
There is a 6 hour time difference and i believe the ring isnt open yet (closed for winter).

For those who don't know, if you own a car, the prototype was probably tested at the ring.
Also, it was built by Hitler :)

I looked at this yesterday and there were 3 porches on screen but now the screen is empty and there is like a blockade in the one lane.

Thats funny cause the first race there was on june 19th, 1927... hitler didn't come to any kind of real political power till 1932.
Next time you speak you may wanna back it up with facts.

I've also heard great things about Sabine. Those taxi drivers know the track like the back of their hand by now, practically growing up on that track. Definitely a must do in my lifetime, hopefully sooner than later. Nothing like sustaining ~200mph during the long straight on the last half of the lap

Sabine gets much credit for her skills & experience.

Go and lookup Stefan Rosler if you want to see the Nurburgring track done right in a RUF Porsche 911 CTR.

Great oldie but goodie.
