Im not a suby guy but could you build boost before you changed out the tgv?

Your 3 typical things that would cause this is

1 - a few giant boost leaks or many small ones. Does the tgv have any vacuum lines connected to it or did you unplug or mess with any while you were working on the car?

2 - your turbo is smoked. Maybe one/both wheels are smoked or the bearings are allowing an extreme amount shaft play.

3. You bov is stuck open or the spring can no longer keep the diaphragm closer under boost. That should've probably fall under number 1 as that would shot up during a boost leak test.

Like i said i'm not a suby guy but from my experience in turbos these are the typical problems.

Is it throwing another code because of the boost issue? Is it running fine otherwise? No stalling or idling issues?

no codes idling fine if you keep your foot out of it it runs fine but when you go into boost it won't boost more thann 3 or 4 lbs

Ok thats a little confusing it idles fine but you have to keep on the gas? If thats what you mean sounds like leak. Is the coupler over turbo output all the way over and clamped well seen one look good but wasnt on right cause the same issue

It sounds like a boost leak to me. Do you have a boost/vacuum gauge? If so, have you noticed a difference in the vacuum reading at idle? For it not to boost at all, it has to be a pretty large leak. Most likely a coupler to IC piping came off. In most cases you notice a difference in drive-ability though, so i'm not positive.

Either replace the turbo with another one or pony up and do a rotated kit.

Yes. Your oil feed line is clogged. Remove line from head and replace line along with a new bolt

What the hell else do you want people to say? You either replace the turbo with a new one or take this opportunity to change things and go bigger. I would also get rid of the feed line as mentioned above, they are absolutely notorious for clogging.

School me on the feed line. Isn't it kinda important to have it.

Oh, no you absolutely need it. I was referring to what was said above which is to replace it with an aftermarket one that doesn't have a retarded small filter that clogs lol.

Always do new oil lines when you do turbo work.
