View Full Version : Anyone know anything about last night's meet? Street Road

Last night, Sunday 7/29/12, there was a huge 70+ car meet at Sonic on Street Road in Bensalem, PA.

There was a cop there supervising but no one was getting kicked out. I noticed the meet around 9:45 pm and cars were still showing up.

STI's, Evo's, BRZ's, GTR, 911 Turbo, 240's, Honda's, BMW M's, Corvette's. There were many nice cars and lots of people walking around.

Does anyone know about this? I have not seen it in the "Upcoming Events" Section. Is it weekly?

dont know about sundays but i believe there is a meet there on thursdays.

I know there used to be a meet there Thursdays. I used to go. That was about 3-4 years back and only 10-20 cars showed on average. I thought it was shutdown. Wasn't sure since I left for college and work for a few years.

last summer there used to be huge meets on thursdays (250-300 cars) that the Bensalem Police would shut down. Sundays used to be smaller meets, but were never really posted about.

It's been the same Philly thurs/sunday meet for the last 10 years i could say. Spot changes at times but all the same locals and others from the surrounding area.

it stays active because it brings business, people there have respect, and anyone not respecting the meet will literally get beat down. its not for posers. Not meaning you have to be a baller, but show up and jump curbs /do stupid shyt, and you will have an issue

this also goes for the endgewater meet, it has started back up with great success i think. It ends around 11-12 and the cops are really friendly until its time to get out :P. Im also guessing the stores around their love us since so many people go their and buy food.
