Yeah just watched the second long video and the car uses a 2 stage fuel system half 93 pump and half isopropyl alcohol and at a certain rpm the alcohol turns on and it is pretty much like e85 on the fly!

I know what you guys mean when you say "fastest Lotus ever" and thinking only street cars so I'm not trying to quibble, but in reality the fastest Lotus ever was a Forumla 1 Lotus not some Lotus street car. It would be something like:

It's kind of funny To listen to all of your trying to one up each other with car knowledge... Lotus has been using other tcompanies engines forever. Toyota and Isuzu off the top of my head, bu I'm sure one of you will wiki it and add more to the table.

So in closing:

Hennessy didn't design anything new, lotus rhought of and raced these in the 90s.
Lotus has always design cars using components from other companies
A Lotus f1 car is the fastest lotus if we are gonna split hairs.
Oh, and they have a badass roster of former drivers.. Hill Clark fittipaldi mansell moss Andretti senna....

My opinion is you can't classify that car as the fastest Lotus if the thing making it go fast wasn't an option from Lotus. If it had the V8 TT that lotus used from the manufacture then that would be different, again, IMO.

Even I feel a little cramped when I put my ass in an Elise. Doable for me just tighter then expected.
