I rebuilt my alternator and gotta new battery and I was off on trenton rd/new falls today and I spotted a saturn vue redline.
Are these sporting the exact same engines as the ion redlines? I know Honda makes the saturn vue v6 motors, so what's the deal with them?

Redline Vue is a V6 honda engine with VTEC, AWD.
Redline Ion has a Supercharged Weakotec I4 2.0l.

What do you mean? Power wise? 250hp @ 5800rpm and 242ft-lbs @ 4500...

I've ridden in one and let me add it's a comfy ride. The suspension on those things kicks ass for a mini SUV. We were taking corners at speeds most cars today couldn't even keep up with. AWD helps a lot too...

Mmm, I still don't trust the axel recall though. And I don't like the ride height. AWD car > AWD suv, simply for fast cornering.
