Recommended tire for 17x 8.25 rims

Hey I just bought a set of xxr 527s,17x8.25. I am looking for tires but don't know what size I should run!

I am also lowered and inch and a quarter all the way around on springs.

If you guys could give me some ideas that we be awesome

I'd go with a 245 width tire.

I base my advice on the fact that the stock Supra front wheel is 8" with 235/40 X 17 tires and the resulting sidewall angle is excellent for handling and steering response. I've run a size larger at 245/40 and like those, also.

I was thinking the same, I would probably go with 225 a 45 sidewall to be on the safe side.

With a 225 and 45 side wall is it safe to say I will need to roll my fenders?

Thanks for you advice, I am hesitant to go that big cuz I think I will have a lot of rubbing when turning. The sentra's wheel wells are gigantic for stuffing a lot of meaty tire under there. We will have to see though

True, that's one of the realities of fitting wheels and tires. My advice might be good for the wheel width but if it doesn't fit the car it's useless.
