How hard is it to replace the main rod bearing on a JDM B16a SIR2 motor? Its not loud at all and car is still driveable but hasnt been moved since it went bad.

It's about 8-10 hours of labor to pull the motor, replace the rod bearings and main bearings. If your crank is scored you will need machine work.

If its just rod bearings you can do it with the engine in the car if the crank is ok, if its main bearings the motor has to come out.
