Hey all you AutoXers! I'm doing a group tire buy over on ClubWRX and I'd like to catch some cross traffic over here.

http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?t=134994

I've been talking to a wholesale tire place that I usually get tires from, and he would be interested in working out a deal on tires with us. He can get any sizes needed.

His regular price for Falken Azenis RT615 in size 225/45/17 is $118. Surprised

This is already about as good of a deal you're doing to find. (Plus wholesale = no tax)

The place is:

[contact info removed because they are not a TST Vendor]

Let's see how many guys we can get together, and I'll work out a deal with Joe. He can get just about anything.

Thanks for looking.

So is it just for the Falken Azenis RT615? And do you know what the prices would be? In other words do you have a size/price list?

It can be on just about any tire. Post up what you're looking for, and I'll let you know.

I don't have a price list, but he is usually within a few dollars either way of TireRack.

Not to jump in on this thread (does this need to be an approved thead as you are not a sponsor of the forum?) , but I sell the Falken Azenis RT615's in that size for $109 without a GB... Only problem is I only have 8 left, not enough to cover a GB.

Well, here's the deal. The discount that I'm getting on the tires only works out to literally a few (read 3 or so) dollars off his regular prices. Right now I really don't have the time to try to make all this happen. So...

Everyone is better off to call the number above and ask for tire prices. I would have really liked this to have worked out a bit better, but you don't know until you try. Give Joe a call and see what he can do for you.

wanted to help ya on the group buy and let it slide, but if its turned into just calling a place thats not a vendor for individual orders then i'm gonna have to say no.
thanks for trying to set up the gb though and feel free to give it a shot again in the future, especially with one of our vendors :)

Thanks Bryan. Yeah, you don't win them all. You can kill the thread if you would like.

Group buys on a multi car forum are kinda tough. Good try though.

Sidenote: 615's are only $109 for a 225/45/17, they were like $160 whent they came out weren't they?

im very interested in that exact tire, same size. I can pickup also. Im not far from there.
Anyone ever run these tires? Ok, good, great??

they are $124 on tire rack,http://www.tires-easy.com/start.html

and $122 on discount tires http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c=1&sw=false&cs=225&pc=18502&rd=17&ar=45

edit, i read the post , ill call kg first to see if they still have em than ill try to find the number for OP seller.
Someone could make some money if they could organize a good GB, however beating online tier vendors is a tall task and it is alot of work organizing a group tire buy (as OP found out). Everyone needs different sizes.
