Great for an 8 year old, but saying hes going to be a beast when hes older will just hold him back like a lot of young prodigy's.. Happens all the time, you see young people excel at something, and all the hype surrounds them, and they get so caught up in the attention that they never continue to develop their skills.. Skateboarding specifically comes to my mind, but it happens in traditional sports everyday as well.

That's why I'm starting my son at age 5. In go karts then move on from there.
