I noticed that 1/4 mile time as well, wtf... I've seen SRT-8's with a $10,000 blower setup running low 10's at Cecil. So that's $43,000 for an SRT8 WK, then $10,000 for a blower, a few grand here and there for internals and such. That's what, $65,000 for a 10 second WK, versus $235,000? People are crazy....

Its very hard to buy into a $235,000 Jeep haha. Yea, the numbers are impressive and it seems like a lot of fun, but the price is outrageous. I'm not so sure they thought this all the way through. I would love to hear/read how they justified the price. I mean its that's what they need to charge to cover costs/make a profit and everything fine. But I mean how did they justify it within the company to actually produce/market it for that price.

hennessey is notorious for making extremely limited production cars (like 60 cars in a run) and pricing them so stupid high with the hopes that people will buy them because of how limited the production run was. Hennessey's reputation isnt really all that good anymore, check out some of the rants he posted on viper alley, its sad actually. As for the jeep in the OP, I bet 98% of them are going to end up in HK or the middle east.

I'm not quite sure why he's not in jail, but this was happening back in 04 and I'm sure it's still happening. One customer was told that they were working on his car and that it was looking great. After a about 8 months of bull**** he finally went and got his car, nothing was done to it, besides being stripped down. he ended up having it shipped to the shop I was at to have the work done.

its been a while since I worked there, so its been a while since I heard anything, but I have no doubt that he's been doing it still to this day.
