Picked up a spare set of halogen lights dirt cheap for my EvoX for a retrofitting project.

Should I go Bi-Xenon FX-R
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=141
or
Low beam TSX/RX Stage III Kit
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=64

The EvoX with the SSS package is BiXenon. The inner halogens appear to just be for the daytime running lights.
For me that inner halogen is a highbeam and dtrl. I can ultimately be a jerk and have 2 separate high-beams running at the same time, but I will just disconnect it.

The FX-R has a very nice cutoff pattern. IDK about the TSX though....

Here are two pics from a kid with the BiXenons who retrofitted into his halogens: I may consider painting that e46-r shroud black though.

Tsx or s2k have some of the nicest cutoffs over all light output from my experience

If you're looking to get rid of you're drls there is a bypass for them.

I already have the jRox harness :)

The FX-R appear to knock the socks off the TSX projectors.
Supposedly they are more cleaner than the EvoX-R projectors as well. (this isn't what comes OEM on the evo X btw)

Here is the EvoX-R all fired up.

Ultimately,
I hope to have my car looking something like this.

I had Quad (4x) Mini H1, with DDM 35w ballast, Morimoto 5000K bulbs, Blue demon eyes, mini gatling, and full size gatling. All 4 lows, and all 4 are highs, and i had a switch to control having 2x on or 4x on.

Can your PNP do this?

now for the choice of projectors: TL>FX>FX-R>Mini H1. For ease of installation, its the exact opposite: MH1>FX-R>FX>TL.

i personally hate S2k, TSX, and low beam RX. if you're retroing, might as well go the whole way and do bi-xenon.

and the best evo retrofit of all time is::::

Unfortunately I am a fan of the cutoffs and output on both. I'd really think what you want more - bi-xenon output or not. I have bi-xenon HID's (MH1's) on my Jeep and absolutely love it. I have Hella HID lows on my Trans Am and really love 'em too, but I prefer bi-xenon HID's.
