Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of any upgrades for the rear diff in the 04-07 ctsv. I'd like to give my 05 V some boost but I don't think it'll hold up, any thought?

I thibk they beefed them up a few year in... butyour biggest issue is wherl hop. Get rid of the hop andyou drivetrain will be much happier.

that's what I've been hearing as well, time to order the BMR anti wheel hop kit.

Good idea, when I was about to buy a CTS-V I was gonna order the wheel hop kit the same day :-)
Shame the dealer sold the car out from under me though.

I should have ordered the wheel hop kit along time ago, not sure why I don't have it yet lol

Pretty sure 06+ has a revised diff. The BMR anti hop kit is good, someone else had a cradle that supported the diff as well (not sure who). If you order a diff from GM now, it's the revised diff FYI, regardless of year.
I came really close to buying an 05.

I'm currently running the BMR diff support if that's the cradle your thinking of, any idea what the new diff from GM costs? I'm sure it's not cheap.

Harrop rear diff plate i think is what your thinking off. Its really beefy looking and holds your rear gears in place. The 06's came with the beefer rear I remember this cause my brother was about to pick one up and all they had at the dealership was 05's so we walked.

I found the harrop rear diff brace for the GTO's but not for the V's. do they use the same one?
