It was great! The zr1 was sick, the challenger was badass, I got to see a gtr in person, and there were plenty of other great cars.

Yeah these are the one just for the cars, I have the ones with the stamp on them in my room, I was going to go get a bunch of copies made at the UPS store since I know someone who will give me a little discount but if you can get them done for free, be my guest, just contact me and I will give you one of the flyers that has a stamp on it, I think we got like 5 or 6 of them stamped.

any of you guys get stuck in the snow last night? In the city, my Blizzak's are phenomenal in the slush/ice/snow - but I had to drive my girl home to friggin Penn Valley at 4pm. By the time I left her house, the roads were slick! I strategically positioned myself behind a Mustang that was going about 10mph down the hilly roads to Philly - that was all the assholes in SUV's behind me didn't make me feel so nervous/guilty about holding them up. It took 1:15 to get six miles! That's better than people coming from Jersey though - took my roommate 3:30 to get from Marlton -> Philly, leaving @ 5pm

Yeah, I had fun coming home from work last night (I work at the King of Prussia Mall). As soon as I got out of the parking garage, I knew it was going to be a long way home... my car sucks in the snow/ice... but 76 was not too bad and I was able to maintain like 60 mph for the majority of the way home, it is just the KOP and Philadelphia side roads that sucked... oh yeah and I had a blast trying to park in my parking lot which was basically turned into an ice skating rink, I got out of my car and almost busted my ass... I had to like slide all the way home.

my friggin car is stuck beside Towers now for a day or two...my starter is gone.

In cold weather like this, old starters tend to "jam" up - the bushings in them expand and contract from the temperature changes, and crap out. Tapping it with a hammer worked for a bit - but it just wouldn't start back up today...God I hate this weather, can't work on your car in it.

I think I'm just going to get it towed, suck it up and have it done @ a shop, really don't feel like doing it myself this time.

Same exact thing happened on my NA 300zx last February. The NA's are easier, I have to take off the downpipe on the TT to access some of the bolts. If I had access to a lift then I would have no problem doing it myself, would be a piece of cake.

Thanks. Reading on the ol' Z forums, a lot of people are saying that if I get under there and clean out the connections, as well as behind this one rubber dust boot it MAY start. So I guess I'll head to Autozone, pick up a bottle of CRC electric parts cleaner and some di-electric grease, give it a shot with a wire brush.

It'll beat the hell out of the alternative (for now).

After my 11:40, I strolled out to my lady in red. Jacked her up to clean off the starter, inspect it.

First off, I got a good scare. I moved my head away to spray the electronic parts cleaner (basically alcohol)...then after I thought it was done dripping, stuck my head under the starter - a nice, big, dirty drop of that $hit fell right into my eye! Burned like a mother...only had a drop of water left in my bottle, so had to tough it out.

Regarding the starter:

Once I could see again, I noticed that one of the power cables was just completely disconnected! I hadn't seen it before because of the heat shield. The nut that held it onto the stud was just gone. So, I slathered di-electric grease all over the SOB, started right up!

Drove it home, found a few nuts/washer that would fit, and permanently fixed it.

haha thank god that's all it was.

So the Z is mine, once again!

cars presented to you on a computer screen. The images may be
presented for only a short amount of time and/or they may be
of a low resolution. The study will take place in room 337 in
Weiss Hall. We currently have slots open this afternoon

about 60 minutes of your time and you will receive $10 to

I have dropped in to look at the SAE car but I have never participated in it. I'm a 4th year Architecture major. The engineering program I here is very advanced and the teachers almost guide you into jobs, wish I could say the same for arch LOL

I park about 5 blocks from the football field. I take my faceplate out and I have absolutely nothing in the car except maybe a dollar or so of change tops.

Mechanically, they're amazing.

I like the front end, meaty & aggressive. However, the wing is ugly as f*ck, and the rear bumper diffusers look tacky.

Interior - Overall, it looks very comfortable and sporty. However, the gauge clusters are far too "bubbly", giving it the modern (though flawed) effeminate look on the inside.

i don't own a maxima. i did at one point but its long gone now. maybe you're thinking of my maxima wheels? i don't take my newer accord to school anymore. i take my older accord which is a 94 accord. it gets the job done and i don't have to worry about anyone banging it up or breaking into it. so there is another white accord at school? interesting...
