I REALLY doubt that we're going to have a lot of cars involved in this thing. Most people don't want their car in the city and even if we all had our cars we don't really have anywhere to go with them.

I took these pictures today because I was bored before work and wanted to see how the pictures on my iPhone would turn out... not too bad, hopefully I will get my hands on a decent digital camera soon and clean up my car (these pictures were taken right after a rain storm and I have not washed my car in a while because of the cold) a little and get some better pics. Also the front springs did not settle yet into place so the front end still looks a little higher then the back end.

I saw a blue RSX drive by the SAC today, I saw it was lowered, had enkei rims, after market exhaust and tint on the windshield as well as the windows.

I also a very ugly looking blue del sol on campus with a body kit on it that was all scratched and had several dents, it was a mess.

Black STi hatch racing itself on board street?

saw a nice black STi hatch gun it for no reason on broad street as soon as the light turned green only to pull over and park a block later... he then proceeded to rev his engine 2 or 3 times while parked for no reason... i think someone is not getting enough attention

hyper silver rims (i think), lowered, loud exhaust, really dark tint, spotted at broad and cecil b. moore, did not get too good of a look at it seeing as i was on the other side of the street

On a side note, I just replaced my #6 injector on the TT this morning. Runs on 6 cylinders, but something's reeal f*cked up now, blowin' blue smoke (oil) under boost...think my driver's side turbo is going.

Hey...I think I may have just been freakin' out. I had been using Deep Creep, which is a pure petroleum spray (aerosol version of Sea Foam), and it just needed more time to burn off.

The majority of it burned off quickly, then there was a period where exhaust gases were normal, then I think the rest of it burned off.

Just drove it to campus, feels as good as new.


And no, it's almost impossible to remove the driver's side turbo without an engine pull...or else I would have new turbos by now lol

Then I slowly flutter the throttle bodies...SLOWLY. You don't want to hydrolock your engine! After maybe 4 minutes, it sucks up the entire bottle. Then you turn off the car, let it sit for 5-10 mins. Turn it on, and go through the whole rev range...allowing your car to gradually burn off the liquid. Nasty black smoke will be coming out of your exhaust for up to 20 minutes...that's normal.

I used it on the 240. I put 1/3 in the gas tank 1/3 in the crankcase and 1/3 in the intake mani via a vac line. I let the smoke blow out until it stopped and then changed the oil. Afterwards I saw a huge improvement in my gas mileage.

I am probably going to make it tomorrow since I just got home from work and I am too tired to do anything. I had a hard time coming up with what to put on the flyer, I put the TST logo as well as Temple Tuners and some pics of some cars but what should the actual text be on the flyer, any one have some ideas?

I have 2 cats and 3 resonators. What does it do to o2 sensors?

I've never heard of it messing with a Z's O2 sensors, though I'm sure there's always a potential for something to happen. If you do it slowly enough and not rush through the process, I'm sure it will burn off at a safe level, won't cause any long term damage.

BEFORE you start posting them up all over campus, go to Student Activities in the back of the SAC and have them approve the flyers. All that means is them rubber stamping the original copy, them you can go nuts on the copier. Otherwise, they'll tear em dow, call you and harass the hell out of ya

I am going to change the first small flyer I made which was posted on the other page, going to change around the wording and put pictures of member's cars, this flyer is meant to be used to stick on people's car you see around campus kind of like an invite, they are 1275x1650 pixels so you should be able to fit 4 of them on a single sheet of paper. Then I will make another flyer which will take up a full sheet of paper which members can post around campus on the kiosks and bulletin boards and what not (once we get it approved by Student Activities in the SAC). These both of these flyers will most likely be in black and white unless someone wants to go to Kinkos and get color copies.

Also I will do my best to try and incorporate all of your cars onto at least one of the flyers. And if anyone wants to help me do the big flyer or has anything they want me to put on it specificlly or change just post it on here or send me a PM or email.

And thanks for posting pictures of your cars, I really appreciate it.

Well I was just going to make another one because that one is not that big, it is only about 1/4 the size of a standard piece of paper, i wanted to make another one that is bigger and the size of a full piece of paper (8.5x11)

Well, I think we are going to meet just twice a month (at least for now), most likely Wednesdays around 6pm. The executive board will meet each week, though.

We've got a lot going on for us this semester. In the fall, we had a private planning session with David Horowitz (conservative genius), and had Senator Rick Santorum come speak @ Temple to an overflowing crowd.

We're taking a trip next weekend to CPAC in Washington DC, it's a conservative convention. The spots are full for that, but we have formal debates vs the College Democrats through the semester (usually FILL the Kiva Auditorium), and at the end of March we have the state College Republicans convention - it's out in Pittsburgh this year. It mainly consists of guest speakers, dinner, lots of free booze, and partying with the College Republicans from throughout the state. Last year, UPenn hosted, had after-parties up there...for four years in a row, we havewon the drinking contest championship for the state!

Anyway, e-mail Ryan McCool if you want to be added to the CR listserv, so you will at least be updated of any events. Let him know I sent you.

Glad to hear that you guys don't support that kind of ****. I have nothing against people voicing their opinions but its all kinds of messed up to rely on a shock factor to influence other people. The worst part is that our campus sees a lot of traffic from local schools and young kids that really don't need to be seeing that.

Yea, it's quite pathetic, and the priest at the Newman Center (often not a very stern, serious individual) was downright pissed off when they refused to not use that form of campaign. We had a banner of theirs up for years, and it has been gone, as well as any link between our church/group and their group. They were unwilling to be reasonable about our beliefs that the campaign was radical, and they might have screwed themselves over. But without people voicing that opinion, and in numbers, they will continue to do it (as they have every year I have been here).

So Tony and I got the big flyer approved to post around campus and also in all of Temple's buildings. I am probably going to go to the UPS shop and get a **** load of copies made of the stamped flyer and then we can set up a meet or something and distribute them to everyone so we can post them up and blanket the whole campus and try and get some more members.

Stiffer exhaust hanger? Or remove the tow hook.

I tried getting stiffer aftermarket hangers, I have the corksport ones but anyway... it reduced the sound a little i would say by like 70% but it still bangs against it from time to time and i tried adjusting it and everything... according to the guys on the mazda forums the stiffer hangers do the trick for them but not for me... why do i always have to be the exception!

i dont usually street race at all because it is too risky and stupid... but this guy was being a dick so I taught him a lesson, i beat the **** out of his dodge magnum...

i was doing 80 mph in the left lane which i think is reasonably fast, but I guess it was not fast enough for this guy so he comes speeding up on me and then once he realized i was not doing 110 like he was tried to pass me in the right lane, which just annoys me to no end when people try to do that so I proceeded to destroy his car and I am like a couple car lengths in front of him when I notice in my rear view that he got pulled over by the police, so the police got him but did not get me... good stuff... it was fun.

***UPDATE!***

So Tony and I got the big flyer approved to post around campus and also in all of Temple's buildings. I am probably going to go to the UPS shop and get a **** load of copies made of the stamped flyer and then we can set up a meet or something and distribute them to everyone so we can post them up and blanket the whole campus and try and get some more members.
