First time to this chapter's autoX and I was very impressed with how th event was run. It was a great day and aside from the timing box being ran over twice it all went down without any problems.

Thanks again to everyone who set the event up!

Speaking of which....did any TST members go other then me, VDCOFF, and Jack?

I was there(pretty sure you were talking to me) and Strat(co-driving the 2011 STI wagon and my cav for his last 2 runs.) was too. And actually the timing lights were ran over 3 times. Yesterday was a abnormal, usually we dont have that many issues during the day.

Lets see if i can name all the issues that shouldnt have happened.
"Jumbo-tron" type drive in movie screen in the middle of the lot.
Old couple driving on course before we got started.
Dave dropped the battery out of the laptop thus loosing all of the mornings registration info.
Typical timing issues(that were suppose to be "solved" with the new timing system).
Timing light was ran over.
Dog on course.
Timing light was ran over again and almost destroyed(spent about a half hour fixing it).
Timing light was hit again(not hard but just unaligned it).

Totally forgot about most of that stuff since it didn't set us back that far. The 2nd time the light was run over was the only really big waste of time.

How did you do time wise? I started with a 50 and ended with a 42.3. Pretty happy with the results for my first time out. I think I could have pulled some better times if a few more things fell into place. On the way home I realized I was running my safe map which may have slowed me down a tad and my tire pressure was wayyyyy off.

We might end up coming to Williamsport for the Sunday event next month.

My 1st run was a 50 too, but i was just making sure i knew where i was going. After that i was 43-42, i think my quickest was a 42.4. Honestly i'd have to check the results. Willpo is a 2 day event next month, but i cant make it(work). I will be out next year with a hopefully better suspension setup on the cav.

There is a local autoX this Sunday up by the crossings in Bartonsville if you're interested in joining. It's really really small but it costs almost nothing to do unlimited runs. Let me know if you want to come out and I'll PM you the info.

glad you had a good time at the event... we got a late start and had a lot of delays vs. our usual events.

I was helping with registration in the morning. (the one handing out car number sheets and making sure the waiver got signed)

I plan on being at Williamsport as it's a hometown event for me. I'm not sure I'll be running though as my car is still in pieces.

Yes I was the one with the blue tape on my car. And this was my first auto-x but it got me hooked, it was a lot of fun. I started hitting 45s and my best time was a 42.2.

I have raced many times with NEPA before, they are Very laid back events. Part of that reason is the low turn out, it is easy to be laid back when you only get 50 cars. I didn't get a chance to make it up there this year yet, maybe before the season ends.

I still haven't got a chance to see you out at an autoX! I'll have to ask you for some tips whenever I see you out at an event.
