Hesitation around 3k

This happens every once and a while. Start up is kinda delayed, once started it sounds fine and runs good. when normal driving i hit 3k and it bogs down and won't go above the 3k. its throwing a cell but its the temp coolant cell and can never get rid of it no matter how many times i changed it or clear the code. Anyone have any ideas?

V6 tib with exhaust, intake, headers, stg 4 upper and lower mainfold and a neo. i think that might be the issue

what all did u check???? check timing, grounds,ect. does it do it while ur sitting there, not in gear amd just pressing on the gas to 3k?

havent checked anything yet due to it being a monsoon outside, but nope when im sitting there and i rev it delays but revs fine over 3k

ummm. do u have a volt gauge? i also might want to do a compression test. is it smoking at all?

nah no volt gauge, need some new plugs and wires though and no smoke. was back firing and stalling out about two weeks ago.

well u should invest in gauges.it will help u to monitor the car...like wideband, boost(if ur turbocharged), volt, oil pressure, water temp, at least these gauges. get the timing and ignition system check for sure. sounds like that maybe the issue

still check ignition system, lose wire, bad connector, ect

I had the same problem in my truck, look into the fuel pump, that was my problem...
