I just did a swap in my brothers civic. However I am having one last issue and before I pull the trans I would like some input. Here are the symptoms/problems.
-When the car is shut off and clutch pressed in/released you can shift through gears no problem.
-When you have the car running and push in the clutch and try and shift into any gear it wont budge.
-When the car is off with it in 1st, ebrake down and clutch out car doesnt move. When you press the clutch all the way down, car STILL won't budge. Clutch stays engaged.

I have replaced the clutch master cylinder/slave cylinder and made sure everything is bled. The hydrolics work 100% up to par. All shift linkage is tight and moves freely.
Clutch pedal freeplay is adjusted.

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Tonight I did the clutch job. Found out it was a broken spring lodged between the pressure plate fingers and the clutch disc.

Crap. I am having the same problem with my DD. I REALLY dont feel like pulling the trans, paying for a new clutch etc, and installing on this $800 POS. I have a project car for this type of nonsense.

Edit - found out it was the clutch master cylinder dying out on me. Replacement ordered.

Ran across this thread randomly but my buddy is having this problem with his legacy! The clutch wont disengage, it's stage 4 if that makes a difference. We can't figure it out, master and slave are both new. Guess the trans is comin back out...
