Hey guys, after almost 5 years of owning, shooting, abusing, and loving my 30D, I've come to terms that it's finally time to replace it with a brand new camera. It seems like no matter how perfectly I focus on a subject, the photo is still not as sharp, clear, or defined as it should be. The body has taken a couple bangs, hits, and falls in its lifetime.

I have been looking into picking up either a 60D or a 7D. They both shoot HD video, the 7D in 1080p and the 60D just in some big resolution. I don't really need to shoot video, but it would be real sweet to have that option since I have always been real curious of filming and editing video.

I rarely shoot anymore, but maybe it's because of how frustrating it is when photos that look perfect through the viewfinder turn out far from perfect on the computer. I still love taking photos and everything, not really too sure why I haven't lately.

It's either a new camera body or some coilovers for my daily, hahaha. Any one have some input on either of these bodies?

I had the same problem with the camera to computer thing. Just adjust your view-finder. The photo would look focused through the view-finder, but come out blurry on the computer. There should be an adjustment near the VF. As for the sharpness, your AF (assuming you use AF) may be off.
