i am getting a 96 cavy to part out and was wondering if theres any forums for chevy cavaliers that are pretty popular, kinda like nasioc or vwvortex for subarus and vws.....

J-body.org is what you want. What are the specs on the car? Most people would be interested in quality aftermarket parts. A few might be interested in stock parts if it is a Z/24. Honestly if it is a 2.2L/Auto just take any aftermarket parts off and sell the rest to a scrap yard.

haha its a 2.2 auto.....but i figure i'll make a nice bit off it. Its a 2 door and its in good shape. Its stock...

Yea, the older 2.2/auto combo is the slowest of the slow and 96 is the bastard year that doesnt have any ECU support. You can try parting it, but honestly you'll have better luck scrapping it.

i made 4k off a mk4 jetta i bought for $300 so im sure i'll hit about that on this.....im not worried. craigslist is awesome too for selling this stuff :)

not alot of guys on j-body looking for stock 2.2ohv parts.
