I figured I would post up some pics of my other ride if you guys are interested. I took a 1996 Chevy Astro and did it up JDM V.I.P. Style... Like the Lexus LS400's and Vans you see over in Japan that are blacked out and kitted with deep lip rims.
This van has a 2003 Escalade front clip, bodykit, and is tucking 22" Rims. I painted in satin black and the entire interior is black with cream seats out of a Escalade as well. Even though it is a domestic, the tuner crews out here all dig it so mostly it hangs out with them. Right now me and my wife are daily driving it (ouch) because it is the car that gets the best gas mileage out of everything we own.
if you want, let me know and I'll make a photo gallery on here.

i want to see it as well. vanning in japan is HUGE. theres a kit for the first gen scion xB (04-06.5) called the snowy heron kit that converts the front end of the xb to look like an astrovan.

Got Insulin?

Definitely interested in seeing some pics, but would be hesitant to name a project with anything that could be mistakes for the word "Astroglide"

Now that might just make me want to buy a Scion XB to make a mini version of my Astro... LOL

Not bad. Japs over do their vans.

Where are you from ? Cuz I see Cali plates. So you're either from there but living here now. Or you're just really lost posting in the tristate forums.

I'm from Pittsburgh, PA but relocated to SoCal. I came here to keep in touch with friends from the area. Are you really in Osan Korea??? Long way from the Tri-State... LOL

We'll I guess I need to dust off the Honda Odyssey body kit from Junction Produce and actually bolt it onto a van... have a kit and no van for it :(
I have a friend out here with one with a Garson kit on it and it is sick...

Yeah I wouldn't call it VIP either but for some reason I dig it. May be because I am a sucker for those hot rod pins.

VIP no, cheap 22's not tucking tire, no camber compensation for offet, bondo bleeding through the primer with rat rod decals, lowered but still clearing a parking block.... Is that rhinoliner for carpet?

Certainly not VIP. You need bags, wheel spacers or new wheels, and a real paintjob. Can't say I'm a fan.

not JDM VIP at all but still looks pretty cool, I like the stock astro van front end more than the escalade front. kick ass pinstriping though!

Lots of potential. It's got lots of mini truck influence...definitely not VIP influenced. Keep it up!
