Need help with grillcraft decision

Hey everybody,
I got an Grillcraft upper and lower set for my 7th Gen Accord coupe. I love it except for the fact that the support for the oem grill shows through the mesh.

My idea to cover it up is that I got a chrome H and painted it black (to match the H I have on the back) and I plan on mounting it on the Grillcraft to cover up whats behind the grill. Here are some before and after pics, let me know what you think! I haven't actually mounted it up yet, its just sitting there in the pics, but it'll look pretty much the same once its done.

Looks better, but LPC black chrome powder would be sick.

I'm not familiar with that model - but can you just put some black vinyl over the support to cover it up?

I painted it black and it helped a little

the only way for you to fly past my vw is if i push it to the side of the road so you can drive by it
