i know you said breeders, meaning you want to find a full bred yorkie, but please look into shelters.

i have called about 6 local shelters and most said they rarely get yorkies in and if they do they go fast because they are popular and we cant adopt because we have no fence

Most places don't come out and check and see if you have a fence. I've adopted two dogs and don't have a fence. If they ask you just say yes. There is a yorkie rescue in sinking spring, but they have foster houses all over. http://members.petfinder.com/~PA165/index.html They will also suggest breeders for you if you must go that route.
You probably won't find any breeders selling yorkies in your price range anyway. When my parents got theirs 15 years ago she was 1,200 and that was with a discount bc she was too small to be made into a show dog. You are going to pay ALOT from a breeder especially if the puppy has champion bloodlines. I'm a big rescue advocate...lots of dogs need homes.

I moved this to the Networking section. Seems like the most logical place for it.

my bad big jim, i always forget atbout the networking section.
about the fence tho, i applied and all that crap filled out like 12 forms and had an "inspector" come out to her house and check it out and denied her in about 10 seconds because of the fence, he also said that all adoption and resue places should inspect your property and house.
The dog doesnt have to be a show dog with champion blood lines, she just loves dogs and i wanted to get her one as a pet nothing that serious haha i have found males in lancaster for 450 and females for 500.

if they are a good shelter then they will inspect the property. do you have a dog park near by that you can use as an alternative to fencing in your yard? Good luck! but i say go the adoption route!

Do you have a fence at your house then? You could always put your address on the forms instead. I know of a few places that will deny you if you say the dog is for a 'gift' so keep that in mind. Also do what Grimm said. Tell them if you have a dog friendly park near by for them to run and play. Like I said before I dont have a fence and I've adopted two dogs from DE Humane Association. They don't make house visits but when asked I told them we don't have a fence but, we have a dog park within walking distance so the pups can get exercise. We also have those long chain things staked into the ground so they can be outside in the yard but won't run away or anything. Plead your case...the worst they can say is no and then just try another shelter...unfortunately there are MANY shelters :(
