found it last night, but listen u have an aftermarket radio in your car were the speakers factory amplified because on my friends we think it is, so i dunno if we shoudl take the factory amps out and wire the speakers straight fromt he head unit or to wire the head unit to factory amps

hmmm, I have a touring model FD so it came with the bose system with a factory amp. Unfortunatly I dont think I would be much help bc I still have my factory stereo and have not gone aftermarket yet. I'm not much of a stereo guy either but I'm sure many on this board are. Nevertheless I'll try and dig up something for you and let you know.

sounds similar to the FC setup, and if I ever do any audio thats what Im gonna do, by-pass the stock speaker amps. 20+ yrs later theyre probably shot and with a good head unit and speakers it will be better than anything Mazda could've dreamed about back then
