Ok, so recently I was pulled over for speeding on route 611 in doylestown township in bucks county. but i was pulled over by a plumsteadville twp officer who said he followed me 2 miles. well in that 2 miles was the twp boundaries. plumsteadville is the neighborring twp. so anyway he stops me and says license registration, ins., and then asks about why im being stopped, so i asnwer i was going about 15 over the limit and then asks when last citaition was which was back in 08. so he comes back to my car and gives me my stuff and just says slow it down and lets me go.
so, the question is, why did he let me go? is there such a thing where if you followed for more than a mile you cant be ticketed, or since he followed me outa his township and follow for 2 miles he couldnt? it was just kinda wierd as i expected a ticket. not that im complaining, just wandering. maybe he was just in a good mood and decided to let me go since its been a few years since ive had a ticket.
thanks for the time to answer this, i know you guys are busy.
