What is this worth?

A good friend asked about this rb25 240sx but when it comes to RB'd 240's I'm not quite sure about prices...it's definitely ugly and needs some love but has a good running swap and potential. $8K sounds way off to me I'm thinking more around $4-5K. Opinion on most this should fetch?

4 Brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS pole position tires. 2 have 200 miles 2 not installed but paid for them to be
New windshield
New black mint dash (very rare to find, very prone to cracking)
New Front calipers pads and rotors
New rear pads and rotors
Brake Flush
Coolant flush

The bad:
Will need a new driveshaft soon. U-joints are making noise, doesn't stop the car from driving.
The vlsd isnt installed yet due to driveshaft length
Fuel pump also not installed yet
No interior behind front seats, planned on a cage

I dont know, sounds a touch high... Im selling a reworked SR 240 for 5500 that run great, is tuned, but has some rust on the rockers. If this car was fully tuned and didn't have the problems you described, then it would be worth 8k. If you could get him around 7 then maybe, but 8 is a bit much.

Why? I see RB25s sell for 1.5k and less all the time. Spending 8k on a car for a motor that is only worth 1.5k seems kind of foolish.

That car is in way worse shape than mine, and I was asking for $6K... No one bit. I think that car is worth around $5K in all honesty.

Oh man, I didnt even realize that car doesn't even have suspension... any of it.

Damn, I feel a lot better asking for 5500 for mine then, at least mines got JICs all around! yeah, shop around, if that guy doesn't go under 6k I wouldn't consider it worth it at all.

Where's the :barf: emoticon when you need it...I wouldn't pay more than $5K for sure. Would be really cool if it fell into the right hands..put that body back to stock, fresh paint, install the parts, get a custom axle with replaceable U-joints etc.

I wouldn't touch that car with a ten foot pole.

That being said, it's an honest $4,500 car, maximum. It needs appears to need a decent amount of work to get it to do anything awesome.
