Here's an idea, how about a reputation system that allows members to give and receive rep points. We do this on my other forums and it shows under your avatar a colored bar that increases as your rep goes up

Yes! I like this! We can put markings on ppl we don't like! But what symbol would best convey this? Hmm...

I'll be in negative rep in no time! Seems as pointless as the like button though. Its a forum, not a popularity contest.

We have detractor points for the bad people, itrader for the sellers, post count and member since dates. Not sure why we need more, when we know who the established member, with good feedback are.

People have yet to use iTrader on this forum...doubt anyone will use rep points on here either. I agree, on other forums, it does tend to work.

This sounds cool....but instead of reputation it must be labeled as "street cred". I want to brag about my street cred at TST car meets!

Powdered water may help stop global warming. So it's actually quite useful.

You have lost 5 street cred.

Yeah......

Not needed.

It doesn't take long to figure people out here.

It's fine just like it is.

what ive noticed on forums that use this is that people often post for the sole reason of getting more rep points.... which is annoying.

On a few forums they have a little thing for rep next to a post or thread.
You can click to add or subtract it.
Pretty neat.
