Currently Prelude is stock, but am debating if I should put an exhaust on this one again. I will tell you straight from the get go there is absolutely no fart to it and it has a smooth consistent sound.

Question is to do it or not to do it.

Or to make the thread less useless.

DO You prefer stock exhaust or aftermarket.

I prefer stock, unless it's in a car that I drive 15 minutes then aftermarket is ok. I hate loud noise for long drives (more than 20 minutes)

The exhaust/muffler I would be putting on has virtually no drone on the highway. It doesn't really add volume, but more tone. Just can't decide if I want to do it. And I don't drive it that much. Mostly weekends and if I go to the grocery store.

I thought the same when I sold my civic (that had an exhaust) when I bought my stock is300 I rather hear the engine than a exhaust noise. It all depends if its your daily as well I would prefer not too but again its all up to you. You should get the one that adjust noise I forgot what its called but marty car mods on youtube where they bought a s15

I would keep it stock unless you are going to mod the car more. Nothing less cool then a car with just an exhaust.

if you already have it, and you want to do it, then do it lol.

if not, then get a quiet exhaust like the apexi ws2 or something

Aftermarket! Only thing is with Honda's if you want the most gain and best sound you gotta really research the precise size!

Go aftermarket as long as it doesnt make your car sound terrible.

This...for a clean daily driven Honda I've always loved the look, finish, sound, and quietness of the WS2.

I wouldn't waste the time or money if you don't drive it much.

I used to have stock piping with a Thrush turbo muffler on my car, then switched to a cat-back system (Pacesetter... 2.25" piping).

Sounds exactly the same except at lower RPMs is a little lower pitched and I like it. Volume seems about the same too, it's not obnoxiously loud.
