Everyone who is interested in running and learning to run TSD rallys should come out for the new South Jersey SCCA TSD rally series (http://www.sjr-scca.org/rally.html). There will be a mix of TSD rally types. Most are 'touring' rallys that are straight forward with no tricks or 'traps' for you to have to deal with.

The first rally of the series will be Spring Thaw (http://www.sjr-scca.org/rally/SJRSpringThaw2006.pdf) and is a straight forward touring rally designed for everyone to be able to complete.

First 20 entries will receive dash plaques:

The second rally of the series will be April Showers (http://www.sjr-scca.org/rally/SJRAprilShowers2006.pdf). This will be a looped course where contestants will run a simple tour rally the first time through and then attempt to match their times the second time through.

No you do not have to be an SCCA memeber to participate. Would the SCCA like it, sure, but you are more than welcome to come out and participate.

The Spring Thaw Rally was held with twenty entries. Despite the threatening weather yesterday there was a good solid turn out. The rain did clear out for a mostly dry day. Congratulations to our trophy winners:

Eric Salminen & Alex Ollerman - Calculating Class
Jack Betz & Bob Jumper - Stock Class
Chris Peters & Jake Peters - Novice Class

It was a really good time. It was only our second TSD. Our first one was Pine Barrens!
So it was awsome to finish first out of I believe 11 entries in Novice Class! :)

Congratulations on the win.

There were 11 Novice entries, and I believe you also finished 6th out of 20.
