i actually just bought a kit, probably installing sometime before spring i'll keep you guys updated but heres some pics.

its a blackout kits and for extras i got a bottle warmed, throttle body spacer, pressure guage, and im needing a purge kit

Zex makes a very nice nitrous kit. I had a wet kit before and I loved it. That blackout kit looks great! I love the carbon looking lines that come with that kit. I sold my old kit to fund my turbo project, but maybe someday I'll get the blackout kit so I can have both turbo and nitrous.

hahah the snail and nitrous would be sick. I wanted a little more go and thats hard to do with the rx8 without going nitrous or turbo. And i dont have the funds for a turbo. I found a really good deal on this kit so i jumped on it

I wish I had one of those plates when I had my Zex kit installed. Instead, I had to tap and thread a hole in my intake tube. That plates seems to make it a lot easier.

yeah im not trying to tap into my intake cause if i wanted to remove it theres no holes. the bhr throttle body spacer makes it alot easier

Now is that spacer plate offered through Zex, or did you get it specific for the RX-8 from another company?

its black halo racing (BHR) you can get it through blackhaloracing.com im pretty sure but i dont think its made through zex

55 wet is a safe amount to run on stock internals. Is that plate RX-8 specific or can it be used on any car?

i think its made for the rx8 because its made by BHR which i believe is based on mazda

needs more like a 100 shot idk much about rotary but in most other cars a 55 is not much.

well a 55 is a basic kit for a rx8. i know mustangs and camaros usually go with around 100 shot, and i believe down the road if i feel like i want more there is another 55 shot add on to this kit. so we'll see

It should come with interchangable nozzles to whitch it between a 55, 65 and 75 shot. At least that's what my origional kit came with.

Yea I safe shot on my 350z was 55-75 an 100 if you wanted to take some risks.American muscle is more like 125 being small 200 being risky without a fuel pump that is.
